Displaying some first rate hospitality skills, the Harristown Academy members took over Harristown High School’s weekly staff morning tea and turned on a fine spread.

With Academy Members working magic on the Nespresso machine, turning sausages on the grill, and providing some real creativity in the presentation of cakes, fruit, biscuits, lamingtons, and cheese and biscuits, the staff were blown away with the friendly and professional service from the young men.

In what was a great introduction for many of the teaching staff to the Academy room and a fantastic way for the boys to display their limitless potential, the School Principal Ken Green thanked the Academy members for their hospitality and the wonderful food.

Academy member Shane O’Connor rated a special mention for making Mr Green, a known coffee connoisseur, what he described as a first rate cuppa.

Several teachers including Mr Schick and Mr Peachey took the boys on in table tennis and table soccer.

The boys all helped in not only the cooking and the service, but the preparation, set up, clean up and put away as well and were fine ambassadors for Harristown Clontarf Academy.

The staff social club is now keen to make it a biannual event.
